They are organic, steam distilled and taken from the marijuana plant and fruit.

The Clear created its first distillate in January 2013 in its California lab. The brand trademarked its name in February 2014, and by the beginning of 2015, demand for its products began to increase significantly. The Clear expanded to six states by June 2015 and in March 2017; it combined its might with that of Batmann Consulting for manufacturing in Colorado, and acquired global licensing.

Review of The Clear Cartridges

According to the brand, The Clear is completely free from solvents and pesticides and is completely organic marijuana. Unlike other companies where each batch is different, The Clear promises that you will have the same experience every time. When it comes to the company’s cartridge range, you have a choice between Classic and Elite cartridges.

The former is the original Clear product line with a potency of 65% THC. Classic oil is mixed with MCT oil. If you want a more intense experience, you can opt for the Elite cartridge which has over 80% THC by volume. There is a total of 17 flavors! I tried the Banana Cream and Blue Raz flavors. These cartridges fit your basic 510 thread vape pen. The brand uses a wick cartridge system. There used to be a problem at the bottom of the cartridge with the metal, but the company has fixed it. The issue was that the part at the bottom was weak and caused oil to leak out.

I can’t be 100% sure, but I believe the Banana Cream flavor is Banana OG. According to The Clear, it is a balance of banana and sweet cream. The Blue Raz is probably Blue Dream, and the brand says it will make you think of lollipops and cotton candy, although personally, I got a hint of raspberries from it. Unlike other e-liquids that can burn the back of the throat, The Clear’s oil allowed for a smooth and pleasant vaping session.

When I held up the oil to get a closer look, it was easy to tell that it had been refined. It has a light brown color and is extremely clear. I used the Classic cartridge and can tell you that I felt extremely good after just five decent hits. If you’re merely looking to enjoy a buzz but remain alert enough to go about your day, 2-3 hits are all you really need. You can get a 0.5-gram Classic cartridge for $27 online.

So far, so good. Alas, I recently read that third-party lab reports have revealed that The Clear’s Classic cartridge has little over 45% THC, WAY below what the brand claims. The Clear says that there are lots of fake products out there and that any test which shows a THC below what it claims is clearly testing a counterfeit cartridge. While I want to believe them, it is a fairly convenient excuse.

What About the Clear’s Other Products?

The Clear also sells Honey Buckets, which contain 1 gram of lab-tested pure distillate. As the distillate is activated, you can eat it, cook with it, dab it, or mix it into lotions. It is an ideal product for anyone who wants to be creative with their use of marijuana concentrate. Once again, there are 17 flavors to choose from, and1-gram costs $70. There should be between 82% and 90% total cannabinoids.

First of all, you should NOT refrigerate the Honey Bucket! Secondly, it is an excellent product for anyone with asthma or allergies because it opens the airways without impacting your sinuses or lungs. Dabbing sessions using this concentrate last longer than with most waxes or shatters. It isn’t easy to open the jar, but once you do, you should experience a major buzz after a couple of dab hits.

The brand says its range of Syringes is essentially the Honey Bucket 2.0. It is another well-refined oil which is activated and versatile. It really is the Honey Bucket in syringe form and may prove to be a little more convenient.

Final Thoughts on The Clear

There are not many marijuana brands on the market that have a history as illustrious as The Clear. They have been featured in a number of major publications and have enjoyed mainly positive publicity. The Clear’s products appear to be a cut above the average; no surprise given the brand’s attention to detail, and their advanced refinement techniques.

The flavors I tried were delicious, and a quick glance at the color of the oil and how clear it looks is enough to show that it is high-quality. The draws from my vape pen were smooth, and the oil worked extremely quickly. Therefore, it was something of a surprise to learn that the THC of The Clear cartridge could be less than what the company claims. I am prepared to give the brand the benefit of the doubt, however, because the oil worked quickly and effectively.

It may be too expensive for some, but overall, The Clear is a reputable brand with an excellent range of products.
