A real gift from the heavens above, God’s Gift heals and revitalizes the mind, body and soul…

Becoming massively popular all along the West Coast and throughout California after its debut arrival in 1995, God’s Gift has continued to rise in notoriety, but its origins and source of existence is not all that clear. Regardless of not knowing the truth, which is simply too complicated to track, the breeders most commonly associated with the name “God’s Gift”, are BC Bud Depot in collaboration with Scorpion Crew, two exceptionally brilliant marijuana seed producers.

God’s Gift has been assisting both medical marijuana patients and recreational cannabis consumers since its arrival on the scene, acting as a genuine source of support and relief, mostly because of its potent organic chemical composition and immense THC content. Aside from these positive attributes, God’s Gift is a rather intriguing strain type, carrying with it some unique characteristics.

What Is God’s Gift?:

An interesting combination of cannabis elements, God’s Gift is not only a powerful indica, with a 90% indica, 10% sativa ratio, it also ranks in high when it comes to THC content, which is typically around 18-22% on average, or so the conducted lab results have shown, sometimes reaching upwards of 27% percent or even higher. Its parent strains are two classic marijuana types, Granddaddy Purple indica and OG Kush hybrid, both notorious for their highs and pleasant, healing qualities.

The strain itself is rich in trichomes and boasts a hefty oil content, which makes it a brilliant selection for producing bubble hash, extracts, kief, dry sift and more. God’s Gift is not only medicinal, especially benefiting those seeking pain relief, it is also versatile and offers a multitude of well-rounded uses.

God’s Gift Aroma, Flavor and Appearance:

As with many strain types, God’s Gift very much takes some of its physical characteristics from its parent strains, which would make perfect sense considering that it is genetically related to them after all. Possessing an aroma similar to its purple relative, Granddaddy Purple, God’s Gift smells intensely of grapes and other mixed fruits, touching the senses with an extra added element of herbal earthiness and just a hint of sweet spice.

The flavor smoothly hits the tongue, sending the taste buds into a fresh experience, reminiscent of freshly picked berries, just cut citrus fruits and sweet pastries. The aftertaste is forest-like, flavored like the tall stretching trees and the hearty earth beneath them. The inhale and exhale are especially smooth, generating little to no coughing and a lovely feeling after the smoke has gone.

Appearance-wise, God’s Gift is simply stunning. It takes most of its visual appearance from its parent Granddaddy Purple, with sugar leaves that are a gorgeous and radiant violet shade, blended with touches of green and gray, a grand contradiction against the scattered throughout bright orange pistils, which are those tiny hairs that curl and weave throughout the frosty buds.

It does not seem surprising that God’s Gift’s flowers display a thick coating of crystals, because these trichomes match up accurately with this indica’s immense THC content. The crystalline nature of this strain is beautiful, appearing similar to the first frost of the winter, when the streets glisten and sparkle underneath the evening street lamps.

God’s Gift Grow Info:

Those intending to cultivate God’s Gift can rejoice now, for this cannabis strain type is relatively easy to produce quality product from, so long as the proper measures are taken to assure a healthy harvest. Most all all, this indica requires a massive quantity of nutrients, so regularly providing your crops with vitamins and minerals, as well as sufficient amounts of water, can truly set apart a mediocre harvest from a quality one. Naturally resistant to disease, this gift will need to be regularly monitored, but likely won’t require any excess spraying or disease-prevention.

Additionally, the crop grows short, like most indicas, meaning it can be planted just about anywhere that conditions permit, even a small closet or attic space. This marijuana requires a specific environment to flourish in, which is a climate that is dry and warm, mimicking the outdoors conditions of Southern California for instance. If you happen to be fortunate enough to reside in a location that is environmentally suitable, these plants will reward you well come harvest, which is after the flowering period of 8-9 weeks.

Outdoors harvest falls around mid October, and average yields produce around 10 ounces per plant outside, and around 10 ounces per meter squared inside. All in all, God’s Gift is a real delight to cultivate, with a reasonably effortless process.

God’s Gift Effects:

The body high is certainly heavy with this one, because of its indica nature. God’s Gift leaves you in complete relaxation, and the high THC content can be to blame. You may sink so deeply into peace and serenity, that your tranquil self will find it challenging to get up and move, only in dire circumstances where you absolutely have to.

With that being said, this cannabis strain is best left for moments when nothing needs to get done, whether that be on a lazy, work-less weekend, later in the evenings or while on vacation. Otherwise you may find yourself in a couch-locked predicament, ready to eat everything in the fridge.

In addition to diving its consumer into a deep, blissful trance, God’s Gift also produces extreme happiness, so much so it can cause random, but profuse giggling. This joy can become overwhelming at times, but certainly not in a negative manner. It just becomes challenging to wipe a smile off your face or to be serious about trivial matters.

Lastly, this indica is pleasantly uplifting, acting as an almost immediate mood enhancer, that sends you into a state of not only euphoria, but also complete assurance that life is heading in the exact direction that it should be, and everything will work out fine and in its own timing, with its own rightful purpose. These effects are what makes God’s Gift so widely acclaimed- it has left a positive impact on so many already, and will continue to do so in the future.

Possible Side Effects of God’s Gift:

As with all cannabis strains, some minimal adverse effects do exist, some marijuana types possessing more serious ones than others. Overall, God’s Gift has relatively few and minor side effects, but it does also contain a high THC content, which can be linked to some less pleasant occurrences. For example, in high doses, THC can produce dizziness, dehydration and paranoia amongst some consumers. The paranoia is most common amongst those who have a history of mood disorders or are diagnosed with anxiety, as well as those who generally feel quite stressed and worrisome frequently.

For these specific individuals, it is best to start slow with these more potent strains, and build up once feeling comfortable and at ease. If you know yourself and you tend to react negatively to potent marijuana types, then it is best to avoid a strain like God’s Gift all together, and consider instead opting for a option with a higher CBD content and a lower THC content, for example: ACDC, Cannatonic, Ringo’s Gift, etc. For most people, these more serious adverse effects should not be a real cause for concern, because they are rather rare and seldom happening.

Most frequently, God’s Gift causes cottonmouth (dry mouth) and dry eyes. Both are easily manageable with a little extra preparation and planning. By consuming plenty of water before, during and after your high, dry mouth will not only be relieved, headaches, dehydration and post-high grogginess are also less likely to arise. By purchasing a bottle of moisturizing eye drops from your local drug store or pharmacy in advance, dry eyes can also become a thing of the past.

You can try it for back pains or for arthritis pain, or even for pain from some trauma or injury, it works great. We had an accident last year, I had my chest rib fractured, and once the medication and slings and all was over, and the doctor said the fracture been healed, I still suffered pain in my chest.
