Hemplucid CBD Oil Review

CBD oil has become a global phenomenon. It was already a billion-dollar industry before the Farm Bill of 2018 made it legal to grow industrial hemp in the United States. Cannabidiol, the most abundant non-intoxicating compound in marijuana, is also available in large amounts in hemp and is legal in most countries around the world.

The number of CBD sellers is now well into the thousands which is why we continue to review as many brands as possible to ensure our readers don’t waste their money on garbage. The subject of today’s review is the cleverly named Hemplucid.

Who is Hemplucid?

Given the level of competition in the CBD industry, I always find it puzzling when a company doesn’t bother with an ‘About Us’ page. There is an About Us section, but it is more concerned with getting visitors to become resellers and affiliates than telling us more about the company.

We know its products are available in dozens of stores across the United States and the United Kingdom, but the site offers no information about its founders or history. Hemplucid uses the whole hemp plant and utilizes the gold standard CO2 extraction method. The firm also claims that its products are absorbed faster into the bloodstream and that its CBD products last longer. Fine words, but there is only one way to find out if they are true or false.

Review of Hemplucid’s CBD Tincture Range

Hemplucid sells a whopping four whole plant tinctures, and while I only tried the water-soluble option, I will provide an overview of the others.

Whole Plant CBD Water Soluble

This is arguably Hemplucid’s flagship CBD tincture because it is developed with Nano-technology to increase bioavailability. According to the company, the Nano-CBD particles are incredibly small and easily dissolve into the bloodstream where the body uses them rapidly and efficiently.

There are four sizes to choose from:

  • 250mg: $46.95
  • 500mg: $84.95
  • 1000mg: $149.95
  • 1500mg: $199.95

This tincture utilizes a vegetable glycerin carrier oil that mixes well with water. Hemplucid claims that this product works almost immediately, and I did feel noticeably calmer within 10-15 minutes of taking it. I placed it beneath my tongue as you do with tinctures normally, but you can also use it in cold cooking or else you can use it in a vaporizer. The dropper actually holds up to 1.5ml of liquid, but Hemplucid recommends beginning with 2/3 of a dropper.

Whole Plant Hemp Extract

This tincture uses MCT oil as the carrier and is also available in four sizes:

  • 250mg: $46.95
  • 500mg: $84.95
  • 1000mg: $149.95
  • 1500mg: $199.95

You can use it sublingually or in cold cooking, but it is not suitable for use with a vaporizer. According to Hemplucid, this tincture is one of its longest-lasting options. It is ideal for those who want to experience the effects of CBD for hours without having to take another dose.

Hemp Seed Oil Tincture

This tincture is a combination of CBD and hemp seed oil. Once again, it comes in four sizes:

  • 250mg: $46.95
  • 500mg: $84.95
  • 1000mg: $149.95
  • 1500mg: $199.95

This tincture has a 3:1 ratio of Omega 6 to Omega 3 which is ideal. It also includes potassium, iron, calcium, zinc, and magnesium. It is part tincture, part superfood, and has an array of potential benefits including improved digestion, healthy skin, and a balanced complexion.

Whole Plant CBD Drop/Vape

According to Hemplucid, this is one of the fastest ways to feel the effects of whole-plant CBD. It comes in five sizes:

  • 150mg: $29.95
  • 300mg: $54.95
  • 500mg: $84.95
  • 1000mg: $149.95
  • 1500mg: $199.95

This tincture contains a vegetable glycerin which means it is ideal for use with a vaporizer. As you know, vaping CBD provides one of the highest levels of bioavailability of any consumption method. I found it a little surprising that Hemplucid doesn’t sell vaporizers or cartridges.

Review of Hemplucid Isoterp CBD

There are three different products under the Isoterp banner, and I managed to use one.

Kalki THC FREE Hemp CBD

This is a CBD isolate paired with MCT oil. While it doesn’t have other cannabinoids, it does include an array of terpenes; a stark contrast to other firms who also remove terpenes when creating a CBD isolate product. Kalki oil comes in four sizes:

  • 250mg: $35.95
  • 500mg: $54.95
  • 1000mg: $84.95
  • 1500mg: $114.95

To be honest, I didn’t feel a great deal after taking this oil, barring a reduction in anxiety. It certainly didn’t do anything for my chronic knee pain which is a disappointment. That being said, like all Hemplucid products, Kalki has third-party lab testing to back up the company’s claims. The 1500mg oil, for example, packs a hefty 47 mg of CBD per ml.

THC FREE Isoterp CBD Water Soluble

This is another water-soluble oil free from THC and created with vegetable glyercin for vaping. It comes in five sizes:

  • 150mg: $25.95
  • 300mg: $39.95
  • 500mg: $54.95
  • 1000mg: $84.95
  • 1500mg: $114.95

Isoterp CBD Gummies

If you are in need of a slower-acting, long-lasting CBD hit, try these gummies. There are 30 gummies in a jar, and you can get 30 x 15 mg gummies for $79.95 or 30 x 25mg gummies for $109.95. Yet again, the CBD in this product is joined by terpenes such as myrcene, limonene, myrcene, and pinene.

What About Hemplucid’s Other Products?

The company has six whole plant CBD products:

  • CBD Wax: This wax contains 200mg of refined CBD concentrate per pack and costs $44.95. You can use it with a vaporizer or a dab rig.
  • CBD Soft Gel Caps: There are four strength options with 30 caps in each bottle. Strengths range from 15mg per cap to 75mg which costs $219.95.
  • CBD Edible Gummies: Each gummy contains 25 mg of CBD, and you can get five for $34.95 or 30 for $139.95.
  • CBD Lip Balm: This is an interesting product and allows you to microdose CBD on the go. Each tube contains 50mg of CBD for $9.99, and it soothes and moisturizes your lips.
  • CBD Body Cream: This body butter comes in a 2 oz tub, and you can purchase the 500 mg of CBD option for $84.95 or 1000mg for $149.95. It is designed to treat localized pain with no oily residue.
  • CBDA Body Cream: A 2oz tub contains 1000mg of CBDA for $149.95. CBDA has different properties than CBD, and this cream is designed to provide targeted relief. The cream has a pleasant citrus scent and is a handy option to bring with you on the road. Make sure the cream is not exposed to excessive heat or else it will lead to separation.

Hemplucid also sells CBD for cats and dogs.

Where Can I Purchase Hemplucid’s Products?

Final Thoughts on Hemplucid

Hemplucid Review

There is no shortage of CBD products on offer as Hemplucid is clearly serious about expansion. I found the water-soluble CBD tincture to be extremely effective, and it worked almost as fast as the company claimed. With third-party lab reports to back up its assertions and a presence on two continents, there is no question that Hemplucid is a reputable company.

I was not all that impressed with the Kalki oil, and it would be nice if the company had more information about itself on the site, but it is a solid brand overall.

Rating: 8.5/10

Hemplucid Pros

  • Huge array of CBD products including isolates, tinctures, and terpene-rich oils.
  • Also offers edibles and pet products.
  • Detailed third-party lab reports are available on the site.
  • 30-day customer satisfaction guarantee.

Hemplucid Cons

  • Lack of information about the company.
  • Not impressed with the Isoterp.

    False info

They actually did sell vape cartridges. I don’t know what you’re talking about because I bought them last in Brooklyn New York. It came in a pouch that says hemp lucid dead center. Sorry you couldn’t locate them previously. Perhaps you should’ve called the company to see why they discontinued selling the cartridges instead of putting false information on the Internet. If you need to see what it came in I still have the packages from last summer.. so that way you don’t have to put out false information..please feel free to email me so I can take a picture of the package for you.
