Glo is short for Geo Logic Organics. They strive to be positive disrupters in the CBD industry. Their CBD products are manufactured using American hemp and are processed using naturally occurring CO2.

The CBD market is all about innovation, as suppliers offer customers an ever-increasing list of options. The CBD-infused edibles market is one branch of the cannabidiol craze that is undoubtedly benefitting from the compound’s heightened exposure.

While CBD gummies are the biggest seller, other edibles are also in hot demand as consumers who don’t like the natural taste of CBD oil seek an alternative method of consumption. The edibles market is such that brands such as Glo CBD feel confident enough to launch with the sale of a single product. Let’s see if this company is set to skyrocket or fall flat.

Who is Glo CBD?

At least Glo CBD includes ample information on the brand! The company offers the first chewable CBD tablet on the market. It was formed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the tablets are manufactured in an FDA-approved facility in the city. As it is a strictly controlled process, customers can be confident that there is a consistent dose each time. All tablets are subject to third-party lab testing.

As the brand’s website points out, capsules, tinctures, and oils degrade with time and heat. In contrast, Glo CBD’s tablet is stable. As a result, if the label tells you that a tablet has 10mg of CBD, you get 10mg of CBD!

The brand didn’t waste any time in attempting to expand. Back in November 2018, it announced a ‘strategic partnership’ with a company named Viking Ninja. The news came soon after Glo had named UFC champion, Carlos Condit, as an ambassador.

When you search for Glo CBD, you may be confused by the existence of a CBD brand called Gaia Logic Organics.. I was unable to determine if the brands are related.

Review of Glo CBD Chewable Tablets

When you sell very few products, the pressure is on to produce the goods. In Glo’s case, it sells nothing but chewable tablets that contain 10mg of CBD apiece. There is Glo-Pack that contains five tablets for $8, and a 30-pack of tablets for $49.99. The smaller pack is on sale, so if you purchase six of them, you’ll get 30 tablets for $48!

The tablets are elderberry flavored, and other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, MCT oil powder, Citric Acid, vegetable-based magnesium stearate, and organic elderberry flavor blend. The product contains CBD isolate with no artificial ingredients. The tablets are WADA and USADA compliant and are made with CBD taken from Colorado-sourced hemp.

One of the main benefits of Glo CBD’s tablets is their ease of use. Pop one in your mouth and you’re ready to go. You can even sprinkle tablets on food if you wish. The elderberry flavor is pleasant and shouldn’t cause many issues for most users. Once you start chewing, you’ll be surprised by how quickly the tablets absorb in your mouth. On a dollars per mg of CBD basis; however, they are very expensive; you certainly pay for the convenience!

On the plus side, you can fit a packet in your pocket or purse, and enjoy a clandestine dosage if you believe it is necessary. The CBD industry is still largely unregulated, so it is great to see Glo taking things so seriously with regards to testing. First and foremost, the fact that all Glo products are formulated and produced in an FDA-regulated facility is telling. Immediately, this helps place the brand near the front of the industry queue in terms of credibility.

While other brands seem to operate in the shadows, Glo is very open about its brand and what it offers. Chief Communications Officer, Matt Kennicott, is making the media rounds to help bring Glo to the forefront of the market.

Then there is the small matter of very detailed testing. Glo tests almost everything; from molds to spores and heavy metals, the brand pays good money to ensure its products are pure.

Where Can I Purchase Glo CBD Tablets?

The safest option is to visit the official Glo website and check out the ‘Shop’ tab. If you place your order before 11 am Mountain Time (MT), it will probably be shipped on the same day. In general, it takes three working days for the package to arrive in the mainland United States once the order is processed. There is also expedited shipping available.

As far as returns are concerned, Glo offers a 100% refund if you are unhappy with your purchase, AND return the bottle in its original, unopened state. If you try the tablets and are not satisfied, Glo says it will deal with matters on a case-by-case basis; which is less than reassuring.

Final Thoughts on Glo CBD

Glo CBD only sells one product at the time of writing. You can see that as a negative, or else view it as a good thing because it ensures that all of the brand’s efforts go into making one product great. While it is true that some companies stretch themselves thin, it would be nice to see Glo at least offer CBD oils and tinctures, if not topicals and other edibles such as gummies.

However, if the brand’s chewable tablets continue to make waves, perhaps it will focus on improving its already decent customer service, or maybe sell stronger tablets. Even with a reasonable absorption rate, 10mg is a small dose of CBD. Also, it is CBD isolate, so you don’t benefit from the entourage effect.

In the end, if you don’t like the taste of CBD oil and want to try something new, Glo is worth a look. Otherwise, it may prove too expensive. At least it is a legitimate brand with a high-quality product.
