According to the Coloradoan, the state of Colorado is expected to open its first drive-through marijuana shop.
Colorado continues to surprise with its positive attitude towards cannabis and is now pushing towards its first drive through. The shop is expected to open in the town of Parachute after being approved a business license for Tumbleweed Express last week.
Parachute Town Manager Stuart McArthur expressed his enthusiasm over the idea stating; “We think the drive-through is a very creative and innovative idea”.

This is a major event for the town and Colorado as a whole. As of now, Marijuana sales account for 30% of the community’s 2016 sales tax revenue which equals just over $1 million.
The Cannabis industry has literally saved the state which was hit by a major downturn in natural gas production a couple of years ago.
