MetroX MD Medical Marijuana Evaluation Center | Review

Medical Marijuana Evaluations, Washington

There’s certainly no denying the value of cannabis as an effective medicine, for a truly massive array of ailments. To underscore the drug in that regard is, in our opinion, both ignorant and naive.

That being said, it appears the entire world of medical marijuana falls under one out of two forms of perception: you’ve got those people, like us, who have a passion for the drug and understand its true potential as an herb and a medicine. Then, of course, you’ve got the crowd on the opposite end of the spectrum who see the drug as the devil in disguise, and a sluggish burden on society.

Ironically, a lot of medical marijuana evaluation centers are doing nothing but strengthening the skewed perceptions of the latter – there are plenty of shady ‘centers’ out there who, for as little as 25 or 30 bucks, will connect with a physician that’ll write you a valid recommendation without so much as giving you a visual once-over.

MetroX MD in Washington D.C. is one of the city’s reputable evaluation centers – they currently work with a team of nine physicians in the greater D.C. area, who give honest and truthful evaluations and deem whether or not cannabis is a viable treatment option for each individual’s specific ailment.

Highlights: MetroX MD Medical Marijuana Evaluation Center

  • Convenient application/registration process makes it easy to set up an appointment
  • All patients are connected with qualified physicians who will review each medical history and condition, and recommend marijuana usage based on their professional opinion
  • Turnaround times: Marijuana recommendations are available same day in Maryland, while patients in D.C. may have to wait up to three weeks to get their ID card
  • $285 all-inclusive fee for doctor’s appointment/examination, registration, and ID card

Currently, there aren’t any medical marijuana dispensaries yet open in Maryland. However, if you’re a Maryland resident with a valid marijuana ID card, you will be the first legal customers once the state’s dispensaries are given the green-light to open doors (projected for Fall 2016).

Residents in Washington D.C. on the other hand, once you’re ID card/valid recommendation is obtained, you’re free to check out and select your dispensary and caregiver and begin purchasing/using medicinal marijuana (each patient is allowed to register with only one dispensary/collective and one caregiver).

So, if you’re a resident of Maryland or D.C. and have been looking to treat your chronic ailment with medicinal cannabis, be sure to stop in and give the reputable professionals at MetroX MD a visit.
