It’s that time of year again and who doesn’t love some Eggnog. Well this year we’ve come up with our own homemade weednog. This is designed to make your holiday season extra happy and leave you buzzin’
Let’s get cookin’
The WeedNog Ingredients:
- 2 grams of bud
- 4 cups milk
- 5 whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 12 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 1/2 cups light rum
- 4 cups light cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Cheese Cloth or something to strain out the weed.
How to Make Your WeedNog
Mix your weed, milk, cloves, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and cinnamon in a saucepan, and heat over a low light approximately 45 minutes. Don’t burn the milk, you want it to be just right. Hot but not too hot!
Now comes the hard part, making the the egg to your Nogg
In a large bowl, combine egg yolks and sugar. Whisk it thoroughly until its just barely fluffy. Pour in your canna-milk mixture slowly into the eggs while whisking. Put the mixture into the saucepan and cook over a low-medium light, stirring for 3 minutes. You want to bring it to a think texture. Don’t let it boil.
Strain the mixture with your cheese cloth. You don’t want any of the leaves in your Nogg, right 🙂
Add to your strained mixture rum, cream, 2 teaspoon vanilla, and nutmeg. You can actually get pretty creative. Refrigerate overnight.
Pour into a Cup And Serve. It will be the best Christmas you’ll ever have
