Homemade Cinnabons with a 420 Twist

Who doesn’t like having a DELICIOUS Cinnabon roll? Well, sure, you can go to your local Cinnabon Bakery or you can get out your kitchen gloves and create these AMAZING creamy delights, that will leave you wanting more and buzz up your entire day.

Preparing Your Homemade Cinnabons:

For this recipe you are going to need some Canna Milk.

Here’s what you’ll need to make the perfect cannabis milk:


  • 1 liter of whole milk, full fat milk
  • 25 grams of your best buds
  • Medium sauce pan
  • Cheesecloth
  • Large mixing bowl


  1. In a steel mixing bowl, combine your cannabis buds with your milk and begin whisking them together.
  2. Heat a saucepan to a medium light until it boils. Reduce your boiling pot of water to low heat and place the bowl so that the bottom of the bowl touches the hot water inside the pot.
  3. Slow cook on a low light the Milk while stirring from time to time.
  4. Let the Cannamilk cook from 30 minutes up to 3 hours, depending on the strength and potency you desire.
  5. Once ready, strain the mixture through a cheesecloth to remove the excess leaves and buds, and store in the fridge.

Let’s Get Cookin Your Cinnabons



  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 Cup Canna milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup margarine (melted)
  • 4 and 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 and 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup butter (softened)


  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 and 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Making your Your Homemade Cinnabons

Step 1

We tend to use a bread machine for this step as it saves a lot of time. Simply through in all the dough ingredients and press start. You want the dough to double in size

Step 2

Once it has doubled in size, take the dough out the machine and let it sit covered on a floured covered surface for about 15 mins. In the meantime mix in a bowl brown sugar and cinnamon.

Step 3

Roll dough into a 16×21 inch rectangle. Spread dough with 1/3 cup butter and sprinkle evenly with sugar/cinnamon mixture. 

Step 4

Now comes the fun part, starting with long edge roll up dough and cut into 12 rolls. Place rolls in a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Cover and put aside to rise. You want them to double in size.

Bake rolls in preheated oven (400° F) until golden brown for about 12-15 mins

Beat together frosting ingredients and spread frosting on warm rolls before serving.
