Altitude’s west Denver location at 1568 S Federal Blvd is a more or less run-of-the-mill dispensary, serving both recreational and medical customers.
We use the expression ‘run-of-the-mill’ because it certainly doesn’t have the street/general appeal of some of the ‘glitzier’, ‘wow-factor’ dispensaries that you’ll find across town, but it’s also a far car from some of the more run-down joints that we’ve come across.
We will say that Altitude dispensaries (there are three different locations) tend to have some pretty good promotional prices and specials, but bear in mind that golden rule of thumb that you’ve been taught since grade school: you get what you pay for.
That being said, if you’re an out-of-towner looking for some party supplies in Denver, and are looking for some of the best prices in town, we definitely recommend checking out an Altitude location. If you’re a seasoned pro, on the other hand, you may be better off and find more satisfaction at some of the more renowned botique shops across town.
Highlights: Altitude the Dispensary – west Denver
- Medical and recreational customers
- Great specials/promotional offers: Altitude certainly makes an honest attempt at trying to get people through their doors – they’ve always got some sort of special going on, from $10 grams with any $25 or more purchase, to a free joint with purchases over $60. Check out their website for all the current offers.
- Great web presence: check out Altitude’s official site for updates on their latest specials, products, promotions, selections, etc.
- Selection: They carry a full range of cannabis products, whether you’re looking for indica, sativa, a hybrid, or any host of edibles/drinks/topicals/extracts/concentrates, etc.
So again, if price is a major concern for you, really consider hitting up an Altitude dispensary. While not known across town for the best product in the universe, you certainly will find some bang for your buck – especially if you’re a rookie stoner with a non-sophisticated palate.
Located at 1568 S Federal Blvd in Denver’s Ruby Hill neighborhood, Altitude west Denver is just a block north from Sanderson Gulch, and only a few blocks west of the South Platte as it runs past Overland Pond and Ruby Hill park. It’s not the prettiest/most touristy area of Denver, but it’s certainly a safe, clean area.
