Even though the combination of the United States and Canada only makes up slightly over 5% of the world’s population, the two countries are responsible for almost half of the global pharmaceutical market. You would think such a preponderance of drugs would help the health of North Americans, but in reality, it is simply a case of becoming dependent on prescription medication.
For decades, we have been told that Big Pharma’s drugs were the ONLY answer for a myriad of medical conditions. However, since medical marijuana came on the scene, millions of people have discovered that there WAS another way to treat their symptoms. CBD is a non-intoxicating compound found in marijuana and hemp and is fast becoming seen as a viable alternative to traditional medicine.
This eagerness to try something new has led to the formation of hundreds of CBD companies such as Palmetto Harmony, a brand we review below.
Who is Palmetto Harmony?
Janel Ralph founded palmetto Harmony. Janel’s daughter, Harmony, suffers from debilitating seizures and pharmaceutical remedies were ineffective. Janel turned to hemp-derived CBD products and was delighted with the results, although she was unhappy with the sheer level of low-quality cannabidiol items on the market.
She was so impressed with the healing power of CBD that, in 2015, she decided to found a company (called Palmetto Synergistic Research) to help children like Harmony and millions of other people in search of a natural remedy.
The brand promises to provide customers with the best whole plant oil made from the Cannabis Sativa L. plant. All of its products are subject to third party testing from ‘seed-to-sale,’ along with testing by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. Palmetto Harmony has the distinction of being the first vertically integrated CBD firm to have flowers and viable seeds certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
For the record, the brand takes its CBD from organically grown hemp supplemented by worm castings which helps introduce an immense number of beneficial bacteria and microbes to the soil. Ralph is also credited with being one of the driving forces behind the legalization of hemp cultivation in South Carolina. The brand has an impressive ‘CV’, but do its products stand up to our scrutiny?
Review of Palmetto Harmony’s Organic Hemp Oils
Unlike other brands, Palmetto Harmony doesn’t offer a low-cost CBD oil option. All of the brand’s hemp oil consists of an organic whole plant extract with naturally occurring cannabinoids and terpenes. The company is unique in the CBD space insofar as it grows, extracts, produces, packages, and delivers all of its products.
There are three CBD hemp oil options:
- 30ml (600mg of Organic Hemp): $79.99
- 100ml (2000mg): $184.99
- 32oz (18,920mg): $999.99
The last size is NOT a misprint! It is the biggest bottle of CBD I have ever seen and works out at less than $50 per 1,000mg. If you can afford to drop four figures on CBD, it offers tremendous value for money. The recommended serving size is 1ml, which contains 20mg of organic hemp. The only other ingredient is organic MCT (coconut) oil.
As always, you must place the drops beneath your tongue and hold for at least 60 seconds. You can taste the plant extract, which may be too bitter for some users. It is also a shame that there are no other flavors. One cool tip is to add a drop of peppermint essential oil if the taste isn’t to your liking.
There is little question that Palmetto Harmony sells high-quality CBD. Perhaps the reason for the huge bottle is to help children with epilepsy. While CBD could be effective for reducing seizures, it is necessary to give the patient large doses of CBD (up to 300mg a day). While other companies don’t sell anything bigger than 2,000mg of CBD, Palmetto goes to almost 20,000mg!
Review of Palmetto Harmony’s CBD Vaping Products
You need to verify that you’re 18+ before being allowed to view the brand’s vape products. First of all, you can buy Aura Vape Oil in two sizes; 15ml for $23.99 or 30ml for $39.99. The goals of this vape oil include soothing inflammation and calming the mind.
The oil is 100% VG, which means it could be thicker than what you are used to, and it also includes resin from a full-spectrum plant. As is the case with all Palmetto Harmony products, the vape oil has third-party ISO certified lab tests to show you what is in it. There is 10mg of cannabinoids per ml, which means the 15ml bottle has 150mg while the 30ml bottle has 300mg.
The vape oil could be too thick for certain vaping devices, so be wary of this before making a purchase. One alternative is to mix the oil with a VG/PG blend to thin it out a bit. It is on the expensive side, but you can feel it working after taking a few puffs. The oil does an excellent job of relaxing body and mind, and if you need to alleviate pain, simply use more!
If you don’t have a vaporizer, Palmetto Harmony has you covered in the form of pre-filled cartridge packs. You get two x 1ml cartridges of vape oil for $19.99 specifically designed to work with the brand’s vaporizer. They are disposable cartridges, so just place them in the recycling bin when they are empty.
The vape pen comes with two pre-filled 1ml cartridges, and you can replace them as often as you need to. The pen costs $49.99 and installing a cartridge is very easy. To operate, inhale and the device automatically produces the vapor. Once you run out of juice, dispose of the cartridge and replace with a new one.
The vape device is effective and is ideal if you are seeking something that could quickly reduce your level of anxiety. For an inexpensive vaporizer, it works well, although it won’t produce enormous clouds of vapor.
Review of Palmetto Harmony’s CBD Topicals
The brand offers a total of four topicals. The first one is a transdermal patch containing 30mg of cannabinoids for $19.99. It is designed to be worn on a specific troublesome area and slowly releases the cannabinoids during the day. It is a good option if you suffer from pain in a certain area of the body.
There is also a Cannacense cream and a Holy Cannacense option. The Cannacense cream costs $34.99 and contains 100mg of cannabinoids in a 2-oz jar. Aside from hemp oil, other ingredients include Frankincense and Organic East African Shea Butter. Apply it to the skin when necessary and allow the cannabinoids to gently but effectively treat any pains and aches you may have.
The Holy Cannacense cream is effectively the same thing except it also includes Holy Basil. It is important that you store the cream at a temperature of 75 degrees Fahrenheit or less or else it will liquify. When you apply the Cannasense cream, you might feel a warm and tingling sensation. Within a few minutes, your pain will have either been reduced or eliminated altogether. It also includes sweet orange essential oil which provides a stunning, almost irresistible scent. Even the packaging is first class.
You can also buy Psorian Cream for $34.99. As the name suggests, it is specifically designed for individuals suffering from Psoriasis. It is similar to the Cannasense creams but has ingredients such as lavender, marshmallow root, and comfrey root.
Review of Palmetto Harmony’s Other Products
The brand sells full-spectrum CBD capsules. You can buy 30 x 10mg capsules for $49.99 or 60 x 10mg capsules for $89.99. As well as containing cannabinoids and terpenes, these capsules have Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids and antioxidants. There are Spectrum Suppositories for $19.99 although they were mercifully sold out when I checked the website!
If you have a pet, you can rely on Palmetto Harmony to help you out. It doesn’t specialize in animal CBD products but does sell Palmetto Paws oil. 15ml costs $44.99 while 30ml costs $79.99. The supplement contains a broad terpene profile, and there is 20mg of CBD per ml. Therefore, the small bottle has 300mg of hemp while the larger option has 600mg.

Final Thoughts on Palmetto Harmony
In an unregulated industry, it is important to perform due diligence to find reputable CBD companies. Palmetto Harmony is definitely a trustworthy brand that sells premium-grade CBD products. Yes, its items are a little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for in this instance.
The gigantic CBD oil bottle is a blessing for parents looking to treat their children for seizures. The Cannasense cream smells wonderful and is extremely effective, as is the vaporizer and vape oil.
