Michele Ross, PhD, MBA
Unlike most doctors, Dr. Michele Ross actually experiences an ailment herself. As a neuroscientist with fibromyalgia, Dr. Ross is committed to helping patients through the use of plant therapies. She understands first-hand the problems that come with opioids, and so believes it is better to use the healing power of nature. Dr. Ross specializes in therapies including cannabis, kratom, and mushrooms.
Dr. Michele Ross has been actively involved in cannabis research for over a decade. As well as a PhD in Neuroscience and an MBA, she has sat on advisory boards for a range of companies in the tech, cannabis, mushrooms and wellness industries. She has also worked in product development and has developed celebrity neutraceutical brands.
Impressively, Dr. Ross has also found time to author four books, including Vitamin Weed: A 4-Step Plan to Prevent and Reverse Endocannabinoid Deficiency. She is also the founder of Infused Health, an online platform which matches clients with health coaches who can provide plant-assisted therapy (PAT). She has created several courses centered around cannabis, including the first certification on Cannabis and Motherhood. Plus, she runs an informative website called Cannabis for Fibromyalgia.
Dr. Ross is, perhaps unsurprisingly, active in drug policy reform. She believes strongly in legalizing cannabis and psilocybin mushrooms across the globe. She co-founded the organization Decriminalize Denver, the first successful campaign to decriminalize psilocybin mushrooms in the United States. Currently, she is Research Director at Decriminalize California.
Fun fact: Amongst all this, Dr. Ross found time to be the first scientists who starred on reality television, appearing in CBS’ Big Brother Season 11!
